re:Invent runs Nov 30 – Dec 4, 2026 in Las Vegas. Everyone who registers to attend in person gets a 50%-off voucher for any AWS Certification exam, in the attendee portal. The exam must be booked for a day before January 31, 2027. Virtual registrants are not eligible, and no exams are given onsite. One voucher per person; it cannot be combined with other offers.

For online attendees, no Ignite 2026 skilling challenge or voucher sweepstakes had been announced as of Oct 8 (the 2025 edition ran a draw for 50%-off vouchers).

Microsoft runs skilling challenges on Microsoft Learn several times a year. Some come with a sweepstakes for discounted exam vouchers. Recent examples: the Credentials AI Challenge (Jan 20 – Mar 2, 2026: 5,000 vouchers at 50% off, drawn at random) and the Defender Skilling Challenge (Jul 20 – Aug 21, 2026: 500 vouchers at 50% off SC-200/SC-500). Finishing a challenge only enters you in the draw. There is no permanent offer — you have to catch one while it runs.

Once you hold an AWS Certification, AWS lists a 50% discount voucher among your benefits, usable toward recertification or any other AWS exam. You find it in your AWS Certification Account. AWS does not publish the validity period on this page, so check your account for the exact terms.

Anthropic's certifications (Claude Certified Architect – Foundations, plus Associate, Developer and Architect – Professional, added July 2026) are open to members of the Claude Partner Network. Membership is free for any organization bringing Claude to market, and the prep courses in the Anthropic Partner Academy are free. The exam itself is not: the Architect – Foundations exam page lists it at $125. No free exam seats are documented.

Free virtual festival on Databricks Academy that ran September 16 – October 14, 2026. People who finished every module of at least one eligible learning pathway (Data Engineering, Data Analyst, ML, Generative AI Engineering, Spark Developer, Data Warehousing) during the window get a 50%-off voucher for any Databricks certification, plus 20% off a yearly Academy Labs subscription. It was open to Customer Academy users (not Partner Academy). Vouchers go out by email on October 19 and expire before January 17, 2027. Details come from the official FAQ posted by Databricks staff on the Databricks Community site. Databricks runs these festivals several times a year; watch Databricks Academy for the next one.

AWS ran two individual voucher campaigns through Pearson VUE in 2026. The AI Upskilling Campaign (May 26 – Sep 30, 2026) gave 50% off the AWS Certified AI Practitioner exam, and passing it unlocked a free Cloud Practitioner exam taken by Nov 30, 2026. The Professional/Specialty voucher with a free retake had to be bought before June 30, 2026. Both are now closed to new people; watch the terms page for the next campaign.
